Flyweight kickboxing rising star Elias Mahmoudi says he's ready to fight Superlek Kiatmoo9 after knocking out No.3-ranked contender Taiki Naito at ONE Fight Night 24.

Mahmoudi has seen many ups and downs in his ONE career, suffering big losses to kickboxing veterans like Mongkolpetch Petchyndee and Petchdam Petchyindee on his rise to contention.

However this time, he has made a compelling case for himself in winning his second consecutive fight in dominant fashion.

After getting his hand raised this past Friday, 'The Sniper' made a special request on stage to fight against flyweight kickboxing kingpin Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the coveted world title.

"For my last message, Chatri, big boss, please, give me a shot at the title soon. I want to fight for the title for the big champion."

Elias Mahmoudi was originally scheduled to face Superlek in a world title bout back in January at ONE Fight Night 18, but the French-Algerian striker pulled himself out of the fight card due to an unforeseen injury.

So, right now, he'll wait patiently on the sidelines for his next opportunity, which could very well be after Superlek's bantamweight showdown against Jonathan Haggerty at ONE 168: Denver.

Elias Mahmoudi wins his first 50K performance bonus for his scintillating spinning back fist victory at OFN24

Elias Mahmoudi fulfilled one of his goals last week, pocketing a 50K bonus at OFN24.

'The Sniper' put on the strongest performance to date in Bangkok's Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, displaying an array of techniques and combinations to devastating effect against his Japanese opposition.

From start to finish, Mahmoudi pushed Naito past his limitations with a crazy pace and unrelenting pressure.

The Japanese striker nearly saw the end of this match in the very first round after suffering a bad knockdown. He tried to get back into this fight, but Mahmoudi found a response to every strike.

Never keeping his foot off the gas, the French-Algerian brawler continued to rain down strikes on his opponent from different angles until finding the finish with a spinning back fist in the third round.
