Muay Thai blue-chipper Johan Ghazali is ready for his next major test in ONE Championship. It will come against 22-year-old knockout artist Johan Estupinan at ONE 170 on Jan. 24. The event will take place inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

During the virtual media day for ONE's first numbered card of the year, 'Jojo' shared that he cares little for Estupinan's undefeated record. The Malaysian-American declared:

"I came to ONE Championship to fight the best. I don't want to be fighting easy opponents, opponents who I know I can beat. Of course, I want to fight good fighters and get more challenges."

Ghazali may only be just 18 years old, but he has already developed a reputation among fans for his aggressive striking combinations, relentless pace, and one-shot knockout power.

While he has immense confidence in his abilities, he tends to rely on forward pressure to catch his opponents with the knockout strike. However, this approach could expose him to a vicious counterstrike from a dynamic striker like 'Panda Kick'.

Because the two rising stars are vying for a shot at the currently vacant ONE flyweight Muay Thai crown, their encounter at ONE 170 could decide who gets that opportunity soon.

Johan Ghazali not veering away from his trademark high-pressure offense at ONE 170

Johan Ghazali respects Johan Estupinan's finishing abilities ahead of ONE 170, but that does not mean he will change his tried-and-tested offense in their fight.

The Rentap Muay Thai Gym affiliate said during the ONE 170 virtual media day:

"There will be changes to my game, of course. But I'd like to stick to the same style because I feel my style doesn't have any problems. I just need to twitch a little bit of things in my style."
