Tang Kai believes he will leave Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium with his ONE featherweight MMA gold in tow on Jan. 10.

The Chinese superstar will mark his return in the main event of ONE Fight Night 27: Tang vs Abdullaev on Prime Video against a surging challenger who has yet to taste defeat in 11 career bouts.

Kyrgyzstani knockout artist Akbar Abdullaev has been tearing through the 155-pound MMA ranks and will enter his first world title bout with a remarkable 100 percent finishing rate.

While 'Bakal' is as formidable as they come, the champ is adamant he'll get his hand raised one way or the other.

“I want to finish this fight by KO, but I’m also prepared for a five-round contest.”

Tang Kai's confidence is well warranted considering he's been exuding excellence in the home of martial arts.

The 28-year-old warrior has won all eight of his matches under the ONE banner and has displayed a new facet in his game each time he steps inside the Circle.

ONE Fight Night 27 will air live in US Primetime free for Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

Tang Kai's mauling of Thanh Le makes it to ONE's best knockouts of 2024

Fans shouldn't blink every time Tang Kai enters the global stage since he has the power to end fights in an instant.

The Chinese finisher certainly silenced his doubters in his last bout, where he unified the featherweight MMA world titles against familiar foe Thanh Le.

Given the close nature of their first encounter, Tang wanted to make a statement in their rematch at ONE 166: Qatar last March.

The end came in round 3, when Tang unloaded his blistering fast fists and caught the Vietnamese-American with a right hook from hell followed by some nasty ground and pound.
