Liam Harrison's fans let out a huge sigh of relief after the legendary striker reneged on his decision to hang up his gloves for good. Father Time has hit the English striker hard over the past couple of years, with age and injuries taking their toll.

While the 39-year-old made a valiant return at ONE 168: Denver last September, the results didn't go his way after he got violently knocked out by Seksan Or Kwanmuang.

Most pundits thought that was the final chapter of Liam Harrison's legendary career. Then again, the Bad Company affiliate's thirst for competition and inner fire still burns intensely.

Also, that stinging loss to 'The Man Who Yields To No One' left a bad taste in Harrison's mouth. In an exclusive interview with ONE Championship, Harrison explained his decision to unretire, claiming he wants to go out on his terms:

“I was going to stay away, but ONE gave me a good offer, and I want to go out on a high.”

As it stands, Harrison will return to action in his own promotion, Hitman Fighting League, in front of his loving fans in Manchester in March.

The Leeds, England native will seek to make his last dance in ONE Championship sometime in mid-2025.

Who should Liam Harrison fight in his ONE Championship return?

Win or lose, Liam Harrison lives to entertain. 'Hitman' only knows one way to fight - move forward, push the pace, and instigate mayhem.

It doesn't matter who shares the ONE ring with the veteran warrior since he will bring it every single time.

A Brit-on-Brit clash with bantamweight kickboxing king Jonathan Haggerty will turn a lot of heads, but it might not be a suitable career finale for Harrison.

A rematch with fellow icon Nong-O Hama could be intriguing, while a pairing with former bantamweight MMA champ turned Muay Thai contender John Lineker is another possibility.
