Danny Kingad wants an early night out in the office when he makes his hotly anticipated return on ONE Championship's talent-jammed return to North America, ONE 169: Atlanta, on Nov. 8.

That evening inside State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, the Filipino warrior runs it back with former ONE flyweight MMA world champion Adriano Moraes in a key flyweight MMA fixture.

With his back against the wall after going down to Yuya Wakamatsu at ONE 165 this past January and a chance at redemption, Danny Kingad admits he's got the perfect place in store to ensure he gets his hand raised.

Speaking exclusively to The MMA Superfan, the 28-year-old martial artist revealed:

"If it all falls into plan, I really want to get that knockout. I want that highlight-reel knockout. I haven't gotten one yet."

'The King' first crossed paths with the Brazilian athlete for the flyweight gold after building a perfect 7-0 slate.

However, the American Top Teap and Constrictor Team's world-renowned grappling game helped him overcome the tough-as-nails Kingad with a rear-naked choke inside the opening frame.

Stephen Loman says Danny Kingad has put extra emphasis on his ground game heading into Moraes redo

Per No.2-ranked bantamweight MMA contender Stephen Loman, Danny Kingad's focus heading into this rematch has been on fine tuning his ever-evolving ground game acumen.

'The Sniper,' in a one-on-one interview with Sportskeeda MMA, stated:

"Right now, he's checking with his grappling because Adriano Moraes has a great BJJ game, so Danny's really working on his ground game, especially his back take. We're always drilling his back takes."

He added:

"Many of us help him like, Jeremy [Pacatiw], Kuya Kevin [Belingon], Kuya Eduard [Folayang]; we take turns helping him out. He also attends Kuya Gibran's [Langbayan] BJJ classes for the techniques on how to properly execute a back take, and everything else when it comes to the ground game and BJJ."

Danny Kingad vs Adriano Moraes will be part of the stacked ONE 169: Atlanta spectacle inside State Farm Arena on Nov. 8.

The card, which broadcasts live in U.S. primetime, will be available to North American fans for free with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription. Get your tickets here.
