Former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai ruler Nong-O Hama still aims for another run to the throne.

Nong-O Hama is one of the legendary strikers Thailand has produced, and he wants to mark his career with another massive achievement.

The former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion is preparing for his surge back onto the top of the food chain ahead of his clash with rising star Kiamran Nabati at ONE Friday Fights 81 on Sept. 27.

He only has one goal in mind: to reclaim his throne inside the Lumpinee Stadium.

While losing a world title is not easy for anyone, Nong-O thinks that he still has what it takes to bounce back after Jonathan Haggerty defeated and took his belt at ONE Fight Night 9.

The Thai legend told South China Morning Post in a recent interview:

"Winning the belt back is one of my goals. It has been my determination, because I want to show my kids that at this age, I'm still able to take care of my body."

He added:

"I'm still passionate with my career, and I'm still able to do it, able to win this belt back. I want my kids to see that. It would mean so much for me."

Nong-O Hama brings massive confidence ahead of a crucial fight at ONE Friday Fights 81

Nong-O Hama believes he will achieve another great result in his next fight against Kiamran Nabati on September 27.

This would be his second clash this year after defeating Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai in the Lumpinee Stadium.

The third-ranked contender has put an excellent run to kickstart his journey to the throne, and he wants to continue that at ONE Friday Fights 81, boosted by his recent win over Kulabdam.

He said in the same interview with South China Morning Post:

"I think the fight against Kulabdam has boosted my confidence. I think it's more of all the timing."
