“The vaccine songs, that was strange. I wanna be in the meeting where they pitch that. Like here’s the thing ‘We’re gonna go da da da dada da vaccines!' Like where’s the joke? Where’s the joke? Are people going to watch this?”
Furthermore, the 55-yeard old suggested that the talk show host was probably doing the bizarre segment to earn a hefty paycheck, be famous and forge friendships with the societal elite:
"I bet it's for sure very lucrative. He gets a lot of money. I bet he enjoys being the star of a show and he enjoys being in, he is in on the 'in crowd'. "
Earlier this year, the UFC commentator came under fire from healthcare professionals for spreading alleged misinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic through his podcast. Many of Joe Rogan's podcast episodes were removed from Spotify due to the controversy.

When Joe Rogan stated that Late Night talk shows were basically commercials
Speaking to Adam Conover on episode 1282 of JRE, Joe Rogan stated that he liked Stephen Colbert more as the host of the political satire show The Colbert Report than as a Late Night show host.
The UFC commentator added that the Late Night talk shows were nothing more than promotional pieces:
"I liked the guy, don't get me wrong. I like him more on The Colbert Report than I like him as a Late Night talk show host. But I think that's also my prejudice against that format... Late Night shows are just promotion shows, that's all they are. All they are is, hey Adam, hear you have a book out. Hey, Mike, tell us about your new show. It's basically like a version of a commercial."

Conover also chimed in saying that The Colbert Report was more appealing to him as a comedy writing fan than the Late Night talk show. The comedian stated that the well-crafted satirical pieces Colbert used to deliver on the show were extremely graceful.
