Mansur Malachiev is a man of action, and after proving himself with a massive victory, he has a special opponent in mind.
Throughout his journey with ONE Championship, the Russian upstart has been exchanging heated comments in social media with ONE interim strawweight MMA world champion Jarred Brooks.

Malachiev made his intention known when speaking to combat sport journalist Nick Atkin following his victory at ONE Fight Night 25: Nicolas vs. Eersel II earlier this month.
He said this about having an interim title fight against 'The Monkey God':
"I’m super ready for Brooks and I really wanted to invite him to fight me mainly because he’s talking bad things about me online on social media, saying weird things."
"So I want him to prove that he isn’t all talk but he can show some action."
And if it does happen, the clash between Mansur Malachiev and Jarred Brooks will definitely be a potential barnburner.

Russian standout Mansur Malachiev has something in his mind after earning his third victory in four fights under ONE Championship's banner, and that is to take out ONE interim strawweight MMA world champion Jarred Brooks.
Malachiev immediately reignited the rivalry after defeating South African fighter Bokang Masunyane at ONE Fight Night 25, and he took aim at Brooks in the same interview with veteran journalist Nick Atkins.
He said:
"Because for me, he is just a talker and not really a doer. So let Brooks prove that he's not just talking and he's not just an empty barrel that makes a lot of noise, but he will show me he takes action. It will be nice to meet in Qatar in December, but let's see how it goes."
