There is no time to rest right now in the life and career of elite striker Superlek. The ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion is staying very busy both inside the circle and outside of it too.

In recent times, his main focus has been on his upcoming return at ONE Friday Fights 68 where he will face Kongthoranee in the co-main event. Alongside his preparations for June 28, the Thai striker has also been looking to build foundations of his own by establishing his own gym.

The project isn't completely up and running as of yet so for now, it has become his training location along with a few special guests.

He isn't the first elite striker to look to do this during their career as Superbon has been incredibly successful with his own venture.

In a recent interview with the ONE on SK podcast, he spoke about how progress is coming along and how he hopes to one day build his gym into something similar to what Superbon has done:

"Yeah, so there are already a few students already. Like, last time, we had Johan Ghazali just kinda showed up a little bit. And I think the Superbon [Training Camp] is really great. And I really want to reach that level one day. But right now my gym is not 100 percent finished. However, my main concern right now is my training right now."

Fighting takes center stage for Superlek

For now, the hopes and dreams that he has for his gym will need to go on the back burner for Superlek as he turns his attention to doing what he does best.

Creating his own place where people can come to train in Nonthaburi has only been possible because of what he has accomplished in his career.

With bouts against Kongthoranee and a huge clash with bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Jonathan Haggerty lined up for him, 'The Kicking Machine' still has much more to give before taking a step back.

ONE Friday Fights 68 will air live in Asian primetime. Check your local listings for more details.
