Sinsamut Klinmee owes it to his fans to show up and show out this Friday when he returns to martial arts' biggest global stage.

That's the mentality 'Aquaman' plans on carrying into ONE 170 on January 24 when he looks to land his first win in more than a year. Standing in his way of that will be Spanish standout Nauzet Trujillo, who is seeking his second straight win following an impressive performance against Liam Nolan in February.

Sinsamut goes into ONE 170 riding back-to-back losses in his last two outings, including a third-round KO defeat at the hands of Dmitry Menshikov and a unanimous decision loss to Youssef Assouik.

Speaking with ONE ahead of his ninth promotional appearance, 'Aquaman' spoke about the importance of leaving Impact Arena in Bangkok with a win for both himself and his fans.

“Despite my past performance not as good as expected, ONE still gave me the opportunity to take part in ONE 170," Sinsamut said. "I am very happy and always ready to wait for the opportunity that comes my way.”

He added:

“This time, I am trying to win for my fans. I want to regain their faith in me and make them believe in me again.”

Sinsamut refuses to give up on his dream of becoming a ONE world champion

While the losses in his last two outings set Sinsamut far back from accomplishing his goal of becoming a ONE world champion, the Thai star is far from giving up on his dream.

"The last two losses, I know it made my dream farther away from me, but I set a goal that I will never up," he added. "Even how much I struggle, I will do it. I am not someone who gives up easily. I have to keep moving forward."

Of course, getting the win at ONE 170 will be much easier said than does when he faces a man seeking his 50th career W and has already shown his ability to go toe-to-toe with the best of the best on martial arts' biggest global stage.
