Fifth-ranked ONE featherweight Muay Thai fighter Luke Lessei is backing 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut in his bid to dethrone division kingpin Tawanchai PK Saenchai at ONE 169 inside the State Farm Arena in Atlanta in their trilogy clash.
In a video posted by ONE Championship on Instagram, 'The Chef' was asked to make his picks between ONE's elite Muay Thai fighters king-of-the-hill style that led to him choosing Nattawut winning over Tawanchai.
Explaining his reasoning as to why Nattawut has his support, Luke Lessei stated:

"Nattawut, 'cause I want the rematch to win the belt against him."
Lessei had his promotional debut against Nattawut last December at ONE Fight Night 17 and though he was impressive in that contest, Nattwut pulled off the unanimous decision win.
However, the Dubuque Martial Arts Group product bounced back with a strong split decision victory against Eddie Abasolo this past February at ONE Fight Night 19.
Luke Lessei motivated for upcoming clash at ONE Fight Night 23
Lessei looks to continue his winning ways in his next featherweight Muay Thai contest which takes place on Friday, July 5 at ONE Fight Night 23 against France's Bampara Kouyate.
Luke Lessei recently told Violent Money TV:
"I'm just going to be on my p's and q's. I know he's a Muay Femur fighter. I know he's quick, he's 6'2, I'm 6'2. So it's going to be a good little chess match. But I think I'm going to edge it out just because I work so hard. I got this, you know, Midwest mentality and yeah, I just believe in myself. We've been working really hard."
ONE Fight Night 23 will happen inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The full card will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
