Fifth-ranked ONE flyweight Muay Thai competitor Elias Mahmoudi called out former division kingpin Rodtang Jitmuangnon for a fight after claiming the biggest victory of his ONE career with a knockout of veteran striker Denis Puric at ONE Fight Night 26 this past Friday, Dec. 6.
In the post-fight interview with ONE commentator Mitch Chilson, the 26-year-old made it clear that he wants to share the circle with 'The Iron Man' next:
"I want Rodtang. He's number one now, he's a big star, a big fighter in the world. He had a very close fight with Puric, I beat Puric with a knockout in the last round. So I think I can [put on] a very good show with Rodtang, what do you think? Let's go!"

'The Sniper' weathered an early storm from the battle-hardened Muay Thai vet as Puric consistently landed his power shots throughout the opening round, even nearly dropping Mahmoudi as the round came to a close.
After mounting a comeback in round two, Mahmoudi continued to put the pressure on Puric as they went blow-for-blow in the final frame. The Algerian star's last-second all-out barrage gave him the knockout victory with two seconds to spare.
Why Elias Mahmoudi missed out on the $50,000 performance bonus
In one of the best encounters from ONE Fight Night 26, Elias Mahmoudi's monumental buzzer-beating finish of Denis Puric would have netted him a $50,000 performance bonus.
However, Mahmoudi, who is also the third-ranked ONE flyweight kickboxing contender, was not eligible to receive it after missing weight badly. This led to his Muay Thai barnburner with 'The Bosnian Menace' being contested at a catchweight of 138.75 pounds.
