Nong-O Hama hopes to make his next trip to the ring a quick one.

After an impressive bounce-back performance against Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai in April, the former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion returns to the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, for a showdown with undefeated Russian standout Kiamran Nabati at ONE Friday Fights 81.

The bout will be one of many can't-miss matchups in both mixed martial arts and the art of eight limbs as ONE Championship looks to close out the month of September with a bang.

Hoping to make a statement in his return to the Mecca of Muay Thai this Friday night, he told ONE Championship:

“I don’t know how it will end, but if I have the chance, I want to try to end it quickly.”

The Evolve MMA star goes into the contest as one of the most decorated Muay Thai practitioners in the history of the sport, boasting 266 career victories and one of the most dominant reigns in ONE history.

Kiamran Nabati ready to make a statement against Nong-O at ONE Friday Fights 81

Standing in the Thai's way of a 267th career win on martial arts' biggest global stage is Kiamran Nabati—an unbeaten striker looking to thrust himself into the bantamweight division's top five following three straight victories inside the Circle.

Thus far, Nabati has put on a trio of dominant showings against Pongsiri PK Saenchai, Avatar PK Saenchai, and most recently, Suablack Tor Pran49.

Facing his toughest and most experienced opponent yet, Nabati is ready to put on a show and make a massive statement in U.S. primetime. Speaking to SCMP MMA, Nabati said:

"Nong-O has a lot of experience, and he was a champion for many years. It’s gonna be good fight. I have so much respect for him, and it’s a big honor for me to fight Nong-O and show the world who I am."

ONE Friday Fights 81 will air live and exclusively on pay-per-view on Friday, Sept. 27 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. You can purchase the event exclusively on the official ONE Championship website.
