Thai legend Seksan Or Kwanmuang was a big winner in the latest live on-ground event of ONE Championship in the United States at the weekend. He said it was a direct result of how they intended the fight to go.
'The Man Who Yields To No One' sent opponent Liam Harrison's return fight after two years crashing with an impressive second-round TKO win (three knockdowns) at ONE 168 in Denver, Colorado, on Sept. 6. It was a bounce-back win for him after he absorbed his first defeat in the promotion in his previous match.
Speaking during the in-Circle interview following his victory, Seksan shared his mindset and motivation heading into the contest, highlighting how he wanted to give the U.S. crowd a performance to remember and that he's proud to have delivered on it.
The 35-year-old Bangkok-based fighter said:

"I wanted to capture the hearts of all the fans with this aggressive style, my regular style of extreme pressure brought up to the max. I will conitnue to walk until I can no longer."
At ONE 168, Seksan encountered early trouble with Harrison's leg kicks. He, however, eventually found his groove and started putting pressure on 'Hitman' with telling hits of his own.
In the second round, his aggressiveness bore fruit, sending Harrison to the mat with a clean shot to the head. The British striker, however, managed to beat the count.
A second knockdown came no sooner later, tagged anew with a solid right. The end came for Harrison with 1:49 left in the third frame when he was hit by a looping right hand to the head for his third knockdown.
The defeat sent 38-year-old Harrison to practically retiring, saying the punishment after being away from competition for two years because of injury was just too much to bear at this stage of his career.
