Rising Muay Thai star Shadow Singha Mawynn expects his stock to rise in the event he defeats Thai legend Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong in their scheduled showdown at ONE Championship's latest Friday Fights series offering this week.

The 24-year-old Singha Mawynn representative will take on 'Killer Kid' in a featherweight Muay Thai match, which will serve as the headlining contest at ONE Friday Fights 92 on Dec. 20 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

It will be the biggest fight of Shadow so far since making his promotional debut in February this year.

Speaking to ONE Championship in an interview ahead of his upcoming fight, the Tak province native shared the significance of his showdown with Sitthichai, 33, and a victory.

He said:

"A win over Sitthichai would greatly impact my career. If I beat him, people will know more about me, and I will have more fans."

Shadow made his ONE debut last February but lost by decision to Russian Mamuka Usubyan. He, however, bounced back with three straight victories after, the most recent in September over Mohammad Siasarani of Iran by decision.

ONE Friday Fights 92: Sitthichai vs. Shadow will be available live via ONE Championship's official YouTube channel, the ONE Super App, and watch.onefc.com.

Sitthichai seeks to sustain bounce-back in match against Shadow

Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong halted a two-fight slide in his previous match, something he looks to build on when he returns to action at ONE Friday Fights 92 on Dec. 20 against Shadow Singha Mawynn.

The Lumpinee Stadium legend bounced back in his last match in June after absorbing back-to-back losses. He defeated former K-1 champion Masaaki Noiri of Japan by decision in their three-round featherweight kickboxing joust, displaying vintage form that had his opponent scrambling to keep in step with.

Before beating Noiri. Sitthichai lost to Mohammad Siasarani of Iran in September 2023 and Marat Grigorian of Armenia in January 2024.

At ONE Friday Fights 92, he is looking to notch his seventh win in 12 matches in ONE and 130th career win.
