Former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon of Thailand is confident he will reclaim his lost gold in short order.

Rodtang surrendered the coveted 26 pound belt when he failed to make weight and pass hydration for his supposed world title defense against English rival Jacob Smith last weekend.

The two went to battle in the co-main event of ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Prime Video, but Rodtang was stripped of the gold before even stepping into the ring, and only Smith was eligible to win it.

Rodtang ended up winning anyway, defeating Smith handily via unanimous decision after three dominant rounds. But the 27-year-old Jitmuangnon Gym representative says he is determined to become champion of the division again soon.
