Alyona Rassohyna is ready to compete for a portion of the atomweight MMA throne this weekend, but she has a message for the current queen of the division.
Rassohyna wants reigning ONE women's atomweight MMA world champion Stamp Fairtex, currently recovering from a harrowing knee injury, to keep the faith and come back stronger.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Rassohyna wished Stamp a speedy recovery.

The Yarost Gym representative stated:
"I was very frustrated because I know that as a fighter when you get injured, you're not functional. And I realize that this is her bread, and I realize that for her it is not only physically crippled but morally, as she stays in downtime. No idea when she'll be back. I wish her a speedy recovery."
Rassohyna split two fights with Stamp in 2021, winning their first showdown by third-round submission, and then losing the rematch via split decision.
