Superbon's laser-like head kicks are up there with his most lethal weapons, and any fighter who plans on challenging him needs to be wary of them. Even phenomenal strikers like Georgio Petrosyan and Tayfun Ozcan have succumbed to the Thai's signature kill shot.

Despite Superbon's scary reputation of ending fights with his ballistic kicking game, Jo Nattawut doesn't seem fazed one bit. The 35-year-old battle-tested veteran seems awfully calm for a man about to lock horns with the reigning interim featherweight kickboxing world champion in the curtain closer of ONE Friday Fights 81: Superbon vs Nattawut.

'Smokin' Jo said during the ONE Friday Fights 81 Virtual Press Conference, as uploaded by Nick Atkin on YouTube:

"With my experience in boxing and fighting, I have no worries. I have trained in all the defenses and weapons, so I am not worried about this."

Jo Nattawut's confidence comes from his epic battles with another sensational kicking machine, Tawanchai PK Saenchai. Despite dropping both contests, Nattawut was able to nullify the featherweight Muay Thai kingpin's earth-shattering kicks by closing the distance and letting his fists of fury fly.

By the looks of it, the Thai Top Team star plans to use the same tactic to ground Superbon and his kicking repertoire.

Here's Superbon and Jo Nattawut's pre-event interviews:

Superbon acknowledges Jo Nattawut's unpredictable style

Superbon has battled some elite strikers over the years, but even he admits that Nattawut's way of fighting is not something he's used to.

After all, his Thai compatriot incorporates a Western kickboxing style into his traditional Muay Thai pedigree, making him a hard opponent to deal with and prepare for.

The Superbon Training Camp head honcho said in a ONE interview:

“Jo can punch really well. Maybe it’s because he has trained in America for a long time. He’s used to fighting in an American boxing style."

ONE Friday Fights 81 will air live in Asian primetime on Sept. 27 from Bangkok's iconic Lumpinee Stadium. Watch the stacked event via PPV at watch.onefc.com.
