Fans reacted to the new bald look of the UFC welterweight fighter Jack Della Maddalena.

Maddalena has been out of action since his last fight at UFC 299 against Gilbert Burns, where he secured a victory via KO/TKO punches in the third round. Following that, he underwent arm surgery and experienced an infection afterward. He has now recovered and is looking for his return to the octagon.

Play-by-play commentator Ben Davis shared Maddalena's alleged new look on his X account, sparking reactions from several MMA fans who flooded the comments with their thoughts on the look.

One fan got confused and mistook him for comedian Bill Burr, writing:

“I thought this was Bill Burr.”

Another user added:

“He enters his prime just like Volk when he became bald.”

One user commented:

Craig Jones praises Jack Della Maddalena’s grappling skills

Jack Della Maddalena has proved his merit as a talente grappler in the welterweight division. Craig Jones, who is considered by many to be one of the best grapplers, revealed that he still learns from the Australian.

Jones made an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, during which he discussed Maddalena’s grappling skills and praised him for his last performance against Gilbert Burns. Jones said:

"I steal moves off him. I remember when he went to the [Dana White's] Contender Series, he hit a makikomi reversal in the first round of the Contender Series fight and I was blown away by his grappling. I've been watching it since. His reversal of Gilbert Burns was crazy. I've trained with him and I steal moves from him. He's so good at grappling."

It was rumored that Jack Della Maddalena would take on Kamaru Usman in front of his home crowd at UFC 312. However, as the UFC has yet to announce the matchups, it's unclear whether Maddalena will be included on the card.
