Anissa Meksen is truly one of the most decorated female strikers of all time. While she's extremely proud of winning world titles wherever she goes, her legacy stretches far beyond her glowing in-ring accolades.

“I meet a lot of younger people. I know I can inspire them, but it’s not my goal. I just want to be a good person, and if I inspire a lot of girls, my job is done.”

Anissa Meksen is indeed a testament that true champions make an impact both inside and outside of fighting.

The 36-year-old veteran can add another massive feather to her cap if she wins the inaugural women's strawweight kickboxing world title at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Nov. 8 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok Thailand.

Prime Video subscribers in North America can watch Meksen's five-round war with Jackie Buntan as it happens live in US Primetime, free of charge.

Anissa Meksen says it's time to claim what's rightfully hers

While Anissa Meksen's first attempt to strike gold in the home of martial arts did not go as planned, she has another opportunity to complete that mission.

Speaking to ONE, the Phuket Fight Club affiliate said she's in the best shape of her life and is ready to go toe-to-toe with the hard-hitting Buntan.

“For sure, I will win. I’ve trained hard now for one month and a half. I’m in the best shape, and I’m ready to fight. I have pushed a lot during every training session. It’s my time.”
