Alexis Nicolas knows that one day, his 'O' will go. For now, though, 'Barboza' is a perfect 24-0 in his combat sports career. That includes a brilliant performance against Regian Eersel in April to capture the ONE lightweight kickboxing world championship.
On Friday, Oct. 4, the Frenchman will return to the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand for one of the most anticipated rematches of 2024 as Nicolas puts his 26 pounds of gold on the line against the very man he took it from six months prior.
Though Alexis Nicolas is more than confident in his ability to come out on top, he knows that the day will come when he loses both his gold and his undefeated record.

“I’ve never lost. But it doesn’t matter if I lose," Nicolas told ONE Championship ahead of his return to the ring. "If I lose, that’s life. I have to fight and it will happen."
Alexis Nicolas is ready to take on anybody
Just because Alexis Nicolas knows that someday he will come up short, that doesn't mean he's ready to resign to the fact anytime soon.
Going into what will be the biggest fight of his kickboxing career thus far, the 26-year-old star is more than ready to take on every man who dares step in front of him and tries to take his lightweight throne.
“Now I’m the king, and everybody wants to take the crown, so I have to stay focused," Nicolas added. "Make more money, build my empire, and fight, fight, fight.”
Will Nicolas continue his reign atop the lightweight division and bag another big win over 'The Immortal' on martial arts' biggest global stage? Or will Regian Eersel once again become a two-sport ONE world champion?
ONE Fight Night 25 will air live via Amazon Prime Video in the United States and Canada on Friday, Oct. 4 in U.S. primetime.
