“If it’s a title fight, they won’t care” - Aung La N Sang says teammates Petr Yan and Fabricio Andrade could fight each other if UFC star joins ONE

Myanmar MMA legend Aung La N Sang trains at one of the greatest gyms on earth, Kill Cliff FC. World-renowned talents often train together, such is the case with Petr Yan and Fabricio Andrade at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket, Thailand.

There's no debating the fact that Yan and Andrade are two of the very best bantamweights active today. The former is the No. 3-ranked UFC bantamweight, while the latter is the top bantamweight contender in ONE Championship.

The prospect of these two facing off one day isn't totally out of the question, despite them being teammates. That's especially the case given reports that the Russian may be seeking a UFC exit soon.

Aung La shared his thoughts on the topic with The MMA Superfan:

"That’d be great for the bantamweight division, right? Fabricio Andrade vs. Petr Yan. But the only problem is they’re both from Tiger Muay Thai. If it’s a title fight, they won’t care."

Aung La N Sang preparing for critical fight at ONE 163

'The Burmese Python' is scheduled to take on Japanese legend Yushin Okami at ONE Championship 163. Aung La N Sang has come up short in three of his last four bouts, making this upcoming match a must-win for his title aspirations.

The 37-year-old took to Instagram to share his excitement for the fight:

"Happy Friday! We are back in the @onechampionship circle in two weeks. I am excited to compete against Yushin Okami, a Japanese fighter who I’ve been a fan of for many years. Big thank you to my team @killcliff_fc and our trainer @henrihooft and coaches @coachgjones @coachstrout @said_saparov @drcpeacock @ssorianomma @niklentz for getting me ready! ⚔️"

The former ONE middleweight and light heavyweight champ has been competing on the global stage since 2014. He owns wins over the likes of Vitaly Bigdash, Mohammad Karaki, and Brandon Vera, amongst many others.

Overall, 'The Burmese Python' has amassed a record of 12-4 inside ONE's circle. Training at Kill Cliff FC, Aung La has the benefit of training under the tutelage of coaches Henri Hooft, Kami Barzini, and Greg Jones.
