Jeremy Miado wants to end his three-bout skid when facing formidable Japanese ground specialist Hiroba Minowa.
In a three-round strawweight MMA clash at ONE Fight Night 23, on July 5, the Filipino veteran is looking for any possibilities for a finish to prove that he still got what it takes to be among the biggest stars in the world's largest martial arts organization.
Despite the rough patch he experienced recently, he is still hungry to return into the winning ways, with a possibility to take Minowa's place as the No. 4-ranked contender.

Miado spoke to The MMA Superfan ahead of his fight at ONE Fight Night 23 and explained how he always looks for a finish every time he steps into the Circle.
He said:
"Fans know I always look for the finish. If there’s an opening, I always go for it. I want to end my fights in under two rounds. That’s why I want to unleash the full capabilities of my striking against Minowa."
Hence, the 31-year-old vowed to do whatever it takes to return into the winners' circle in 'The Mecca of Muay Thai' on July 5.

In an effort to overcome adversities, Filipino veteran Jeremy Miado accepted a tough ask to turn things around when he faced Japanese foe Hiroba Minowa.
With that in mind, Miado has a renewed confidence to step into the ring and prove that he still has what it takes to become the next challenger for the throne, but he also worked on his grappling skills to match his rival's.
In an interview with spin.ph, Miado conveyed what he did to even the score:
"I just focused on training and rectifying my mistakes from my last fight. I’m working on proper positioning on the ground, the right escapes, and the things that I need to do to avoid suffering the same fate."
