Ilia Topuria feels he will have a significant advantage over Max Holloway in their upcoming championship fight at UFC 308. Topuria, who is undefeated in his professional MMA career, has been critical of Holloway's fighting style and believes 'Blessed' will be unable to handle the pace and intensity of their matchup.
In a recent Instagram live stream, Topuria said:
"Max doesn't even know what awaits him... Poor guy, really. I like him too much for what's going to happen to him... He's not going to be able to exchange with me, because he's going to get what he really needs. To have his nose put back in it's place."

The matchup between Topuria and Holloway is expected to be highly competitive and exciting, with both featherweights known for their boxing ability. Moreover, Topuria has yet to taste defeat in his professional career, and Holloway is high in confidence following his masterclass performance and highlight-reel finish against Justin Gaethje at UFC 300.
Ilia Topuria makes bold claim on a potential Conor McGregor showdown
Ilia Topuria has made a surprising statement regarding a potential fight with Conor McGregor. Despite previously calling out the former two-division champion, Topuria now says he would turn down the opportunity if offered.
In an interview with Ibai Llanos, Topuria explained that he believes there are bigger fights out there for him than McGregor:
"I know it's [the fight] not what it once was. He is not that McGregor who moved the masses. He is a McGregor who represents alcohol and drugs more than sport... I have been inspired by Conor. I admired him when I was little. I and many people I know wanted to follow in his footsteps because he was an example of faith, that everything can be accomplished through hard work, perseverance, and effort. He has lost it because he has betrayed the values that led him here."
