Ilia Topuria is one of the biggest stars on the UFC roster, shining so bright that he has just drawn the attention of Sony Pictures España on Instagram. Specifically, he collaborated with Aaron Taylor-Johnson on a clip promoting the 'Kraven the Hunter' film, and fans took notice.
The clip featured Topuria sitting on a throne belonging to Kraven, the titular character played by Taylor-Johnson in the Marvel superhero film. Then, at one point, Taylor-Johnson confronts him before the clip shifts to teasers for the film itself, which is scheduled for a Dec. 13 release.

Naturally, this caused fans to flock to the comment section of the post to share their thoughts on the clip. One fan expressed astonishment over the UFC featherweight champion's reach.
"Bro has Marvel adverts now"
Meanwhile, the official Instagram account for the 'Kraven the Hunter' film left a comment of its own.
"No one can compete with #KravenTheHunter."
Others, though, continued to be jaw-dropped by Topuria's growing media reach.
"No way bros doing ads for Spider-Man villains now"
Another fan merely praised the Spaniard, hailing his star power.
"Topuria can smesh every one out of cage too"
A collage of fan reactions can be seen below:
This isn't the first time Topuria has exhibited a prominent public profile. After he dethroned Alexander Volkanovski as featherweight champion, 'El Matador' was given a champion's presentation at the Santiago Bernabeu where he took part in an honorary kickoff for a Real Madrid vs. Sevilla match.
Ilia Topuria isn't the only UFC champion with Marvel connections
While Ilia Topuria merely starred in an advertisement for the 'Kraven the Hunter' film, another UFC champion actually appeared in a Marvel flick. Legendary welterweight Georges St-Pierre, who once ruled the 170-pound division, appeared in 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.'

He played Georges Batroc, better known as Batroc the Leaper, a classic comic book villain of Captain America. He later reprised the role in 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' series, appearing in three episodes. Another ex-welterweight champion appeared in 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.'
Kamaru Usman played an unnamed naval officer in the film in his only acting credit thus far.
