Ilias Ennahachi admits a Superlek Kiatmoo9 rematch isn't his top priority at the minute. Instead, the former ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion is determined to claim the 26 pounds of gold in his current division.
The Moroccan-Dutch kickboxer enjoyed a successful debut in the bantamweight kickboxing division at ONE Friday Fights 81 on Sept. 27. Squaring off against ex-kingpin Hiroki Akimoto, the S&B Gym affiliate dished out a striking clinic of the highest order to stay perfect in the promotion and announce himself as a legitimate threat within the rank.
Speaking to Nick Atkin inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, shortly after his win, Ilias Ennahachi revealed that he has his radar locked on ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Haggerty.
At the same time, he doesn't see the need for a Superlek rematch but wouldn't rule it out entirely if 'The Kicking Machine' decides to unseat him from the throne should he claim the crown against Haggerty.

The 28-year-old offered:
"I beat Superlek, and I'm undefeated in ONE Championship, and I'm the only one who beat Superlek. So why would I want a rematch? I don't need a rematch because I beat him already. Let him come. But I want the title first. Once I have the title, let everybody come."
