Dustin Poirier's next fight has become a topic of conversation following 'The Diamond's' recent Instagram story. He shared a clip of himself from the ceremonial weigh-ins of his UFC 299 clash with Benoît Saint Denis, who he knocked out after two rounds in the event's Fight of the Night.
However, what was notable was the caption that Poirier chose for the clip, which hinted at his desire for one more fight. Despite all of the retirement talk, spurred on by Poirier himself following his third undisputed title failure at UFC 302 where Islam Makhachev submitted him, the former interim champion is eager to return to action.
"Uno mas"

'Uno mas,' which he wrote in Spanish, translates to 'one more' in English. This isn't the first time that Poirier has expressed a desire for one more fight after his loss to Makhachev. However, his campaign for a proper retirement fight has ramped up, and the fans have taken notice.
One fan speculated on whether his retirement fight could be the long-rumored quadrilogy with Conor McGregor, who previously expressed an eagerness to avenge his losses to Poirier.
"McGregor round 4 or"
Others called for 'The Diamond' to rematch Dan Hooker if the New Zealander manages to get past Mateusz Gamrot at UFC 305 later tonight.
"If Hooker wins they should rematch"
The potential for a bout with hated ex-teammate Colby Covington was also mentioned.
"Imagine he fights Colby"
Meanwhile, another fan hoped for a rematch with Charles Oliveira.

Dustin Poirier's retirement was the main theme of UFC 302
UFC 302 marked Dustin Poirier's third and final crack at an undisputed title in the promotion. He faced Islam Makhachev in an entertaining lightweight bout for the division's belt but was ultimately submitted in the final round. Following his loss, Poirier touched on the subject of retirement.
He mentioned that he wasn't content with just fighting with no end goal and that if he couldn't enthrone himself as a champion, he would retire. However, it appears that Poirier cannot stomach the idea of retiring on a loss.
