Former UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling is currently healing an injury which caused him to pull out of his scheduled fight against Movsar Evloev at UFC 307 next month. During the recovery, 'Funk Master' is using his downtime to try out new side quests.
In his most recent activity outside the cage, the former UFC bantamweight kingpin tried his hand (no pun intended) at celebrity poker. Entering the brackets of the famous Celebrity Poker Tour, Aljamain Sterling had a good time with other celebrities and athletes like Olympian Connor Fields and NBA legend Dwight Howard.

After a week or so since announcing that the UFC 307 bout between Aljamain Sterliing and Movsar Evloev has been canceled, the UFC rescheduled the featherweight contest to UFC 310 in December.
After Aljamain Sterling confirmed that the injury does not need surgery and he'll be ready to face Evloev again in a few months, the UFC obliged. They made the announcement on X:
This bout joins a few more high-profile matchups linked to the event so far. A rematch between former interim UFC heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov is expected to take place in this card.
A few more bouts include a light heavyweight showdown between former title challengers Anthony Smith and Dominick Reyes and a welterweight bout between MMA legend Nick Diaz and divisional veteran Vicente Luque.
UFC 310 will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Dec. 7. More bouts will be announced in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more updates.
