In Photos: Kevin Holland goes on a wild alligator hunt with a group of hunter friends

UFC middleweight Kevin Holland recently went alligator hunting with his friends at Drone Bros LLC. As someone who enters the cage and fights dangerous men for a living, we're not surprised that 'Trailblazer' would have such hobbies. He did knock out somebody with the nickname 'Alligator' in Portuguese, after all.

Holland posted photos and videos of the hunt on Instagram, with the caption:

"Out thuggin with my rounds"

Holland rose to prominence in Dana White's Contender Series in 2018, catching the UFC president's attention with his goofy trash-talk and jovial personality in and out of the cage. He then proceeded to have 23 fights (and counting) in the UFC, going 14-8-1 in the promotion.

In 2020, Holland racked up five straight wins inside one calendar year, making him the most active fighter on the UFC roster. His most recent performance was a first-round armbar submission win over Michal Oleksiejczuk at UFC 302 last June.

Kevin Holland to face Roman Dolidze at UFC 307 in Salt Lake City

At UFC 307 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Kevin Holland will square off against Roman Dolidze in a three-round middleweight bout. The American's original opponent, Chris Curtis, pulled out due to a foot fracture, prompting the Georgian fighter to step in.

Like 'Trailblazer', 'The Caucasian' is also coming off a win. Dolidze had his hand raised in his bout against former UFC light-heavyweight world title challenger Anthony 'Lionheart' Smith. Interestingly, he was also a replacement fighter against Smith after Carlos Ulberg had to pull out.

It seems the Georgian fighter is ready to fight anyone, anywhere, anytime. As seen in Holland's choice of hobby of hunting alligators, however, we're positive he's also ready to go at a moment's notice. This should be a fun one to watch.

UFC 307 transpires inside the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah on Oct. 5. The main event will have UFC light-heavyweight champion Alex 'Poatan' Pereira defending his throne against no. 8-ranked Khalil Roundtree Jr.
