Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has shared photos of his recent training camp at the American Kickboxing Academy (AKA). The images show him training alongside fellow MMA legends Cain Velasquez and others.

Nurmagomedov, who retired from MMA in 2020 after an undefeated career, has been coaching several UFC fighters, including his longtime friend and teammate Islam Makhachev. While he stepped away from coaching for a while, he recently returned to Islam's corner for his title fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 302.

The new photos show Nurmagomedov back in training mode, working alongside some of the biggest names in MMA. The images offer a glimpse into the intense training regimen the Dagestani fighter and his teammates are going through.

Khabib Nurmagomedov's generous $30K charity donation for UFC 302 Fight Kit leaves Dustin Poirier delighted

Dustin Poirier's UFC 302 fight kit found a generous buyer in his former rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov. The lightweight legend stepped in to purchase the kit after the initial winning bidder failed to pay for it.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani, he said:

''Somebody outbid the last bidder at the last minute and didn't pay. People do that all the time, people s*ck, man... Ali [Abdelaziz] reached out to me, Khabib wants to buy it.' "He [Nurmagomedov] purchased it... $30,000. He came through, we shipped it off, backpacks are getting filled." [H/t: MMA Junkie]

Poirier had listed the kit for auction to raise funds for his charity, The Good Fight Foundation. The kit, which included his shorts, shirt, gloves, and hand wraps, was eventually purchased by Nurmagomedov for $30,000.

The funds raised from the auction will go towards the charity's programs, including providing backpacks filled with school supplies to children in need.
