Terence Crawford opens door to Canelo Alvarez clash after dominant win
Immediately after the unanimous decision victory over Israil Madrimov, Terence Crawford's focus shifted to a potential dream matchup with Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.
Crawford expressed a desire to fight Alvarez, stating:
"You know what they say, if the money's right, we've got a fight. But at the same time, he's got a fight that he's focused on [v Edgar Berlanga on September 14]. I'm going to go back to my family, relax, enjoy this win and the accomplishments I've made in boxing."
He added:

Adding fuel to the fire, Saudi Arabian boxing chief Turki Alalshikh revealed that an offer had been made to Canelo for a fight with Crawford. Should Canelo decline, Vergil Ortiz Jr. has been identified as a potential alternative opponent.
