Justin Gaethje just took part in the third edition of the annual Justin Gaethje Golf Classic event at Arrowhead Golf Course. The event's purpose is to raise awareness and donations to help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in its fight against cancer and other serious diseases.
This year, as revealed in a tagged post on Instagram, Gaethje's efforts raised $50,481.25. The post also includes a collage of pictures taken of the event, during which 'The Highlight' can be seen addressing those gathered, as well as playing.

The Instagram post itself, penned by Jennifer Henderson, highlights the money made by the former UFC interim lightweight champion's initiative.
"We are excited to be able to finally announce how much was raised at the 3rd Annual Justin Gaethje Golf Classic at Arrowhead Golf Course. Thanks to the help and support of all of our amazing sponsors, golfers, and contributors we were able to raise $50,481.25 this year! We feel blessed to be able to present this donation to @stjuderockymountain on behalf of the Justin Gaethje Golf Classic! THANK YOU!!! We hope to see everyone next year!!!"

The charitable act is a departure from how most fans know of Gaethje, who is known as one of the most exciting action fighters on the UFC roster. He is currently recovering from a brutal knockout loss suffered against Max Holloway at UFC 300, but is undoubtedly gearing up for a return late this year or early next year.
Justin Gaethje isn't the only UFC fighter who engages in charitable activities
One of 'The Highlight's' former opponents, Dustin Poirier, is also known as a charitable figure. 'The Diamond' famously founded The Good Fight Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides assistance to various communities in need, be they schoolchildren in need of supplies or people struggling with healthcare.
Legendary lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov has even donated to The Good Fight Foundation in the past, much to Poirier's delight. This was especially moving for 'The Diamond' given that the gesture was made after the pair's UFC 242 clash, which he lost via third-round submission.
