For Jarred Brooks, the upcoming interim title fight against No.3-ranked challenger Gustavo Balart is one that he needs to win at all cost.

Based on that, the American superstar is deep in preparation to craft an unbeatable game plan which would showcase both his skills and power to overcome Balart's pressure and ground game.

In this case, Brooks will lean on his stamina and career-long experience, in addition to new ground skills he had honed to exploit the former Olympian's weaknesses.

Speaking to ONE Championship recently, 'The Monkey God' said that his stamina will bring bad times for his rival, as he would constantly seek for finishes throughout the five-rounder match.

He said:

“Me, I got jackrabbit legs. I can go forever with these legs. So Gustavo’s in for a really bad time when it comes to August 2.”

ONE Fight Night 24 will air live and free to Amazon Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

Jarred Brooks plans to take advantage on Gustavo Balart's striking skills

American superstar Jarred Brooks firmly believes that his next opponent Gustavo Balart will not be able to handle his striking prowess.

Ahead of their crucial interim title fight at ONE Fight Night 24 inside the Lumpinee Stadium, Brooks shared how he would utilize his opponent's weaknesses to gain momentum.

Speaking in the same interview, the brazen superstar explained:

"He's very beatable. You could catch him with a kick to the body or a kick to the head. I think the kicks are going to be a big factor in this fight."

In fact, the Cuban's shortcomings on the stand-up area were evident in his three losses at the beginning of his journey with the world's largest martial arts organization.

Although he bounced back to a four winning streak after successfully adding some striking skills into the mix, it would be interesting to see how far he goes against the 31-year-old American this time.
