'The Burmese Python' Aung La N Sang and Ken Hasegawa put on a riveting show for an electric audience when they first battled in 2018. It was a high-stakes bout with the ONE middleweight world title on the line.
In front of a sold-out audience in Yangon, Myanmar, Aung La and Hasegawa went to war against each other. ONE Championship put together a highlights package of the fight's best moments:

Over a five-round battle, 'The Burmese Python' and Hasegawa fought tooth-and-nail for the ONE middleweight crown. The two fighters traded blows in close exchanges and each warrior landed with authority.
After multiple rounds of battle in front of a screaming audience, Aung La earned a fifth-round knockout stoppage after he dropped and folded Hasegawa in half. The audience went wild for 'The Burmese Python's' defense of his middleweight crown.
Aung La N Sang is coming off a TKO victory over Yushin Okami in his most recent fight. 'The Burmese Python' has signed a bout agreement and will be back in action soon.

On Instagram, Aung La N Sang announced that his next fight has been agreed upon and the contract has been signed. However, fans will need to wait to hear when and who the bout is against as this has yet to be announced publicly.
'The Burmese Python' shared on Instagram:
"Contract signed! 📝 See you in a few weeks @onechampionship. Back in camp. Christmas 🎄 came early this year."
Aung La recently earned a first-round TKO stoppage against Yushin Okami at ONE 163 in November. Now, he's itching to get back in the ONE circle to continue climbing the middleweight ladder.
Aung La was once a two-division world champion in the promotion, having held both the middleweight and light heavyweight thrones. At the age of 37, 'The Burmese Python' understands that he may not have much time left in MMA but still wants to capture the middleweight world title before he retires.
Speaking in an interview with The MMA Superfan, Aung La explained:
“It’s gonna take a year I think, I have a feeling that it’s gonna take a year. I had that run in me and I know it’s gonna happen.”
