Conor McGregor looks laser-focused on playing his part as a coach in the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). The Irishman recently gave his followers a glimpse into his intense training sessions, and it appears he has enlisted the help of former welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson.
'The Notorious' will make his long-awaited return to action this year and has been roped in to coach TUF 31 opposite Michael Chandler, following which the pair will face off in the octagon. This will mark McGregor's second stint as a coach on the popular reality show, having previously won it against Uriah Faber in 2015.
A recent video uploaded by Conor McGregor showed the former two-division champion working with 'Wonderboy' to demonstrate some striking lessons to the fighters. Fans were buzzed to see the two striking savants working together as McGregor displayed his trademark left hook technique.

Referring to Stephen Thompson as "great," McGregor captioned his post:
"Working with the great Steve Thompson. Givin' back to the game!"

It was recently revealed that Michael Chandler has brought in Bellator heavyweight champion Ryan Bader as his assistant coach. While it's unclear if 'Wonderboy' will serve as McGregor's assistant coach, the quality of expertise the two coaches have brought in certainly foreshadows an exciting TUF season ahead.
