"This is utterly bizarre. And my understanding is Till is staying on the card while Fury is out."

Things started to go wrong when the father of Tommy, John Fury, threw water at ‘The Gorilla’ during their press conference last month. Meanwhile, Till also threatened that he might resort to MMA techniques if he started falling short in the boxing match against the Brit.
Tommy Fury shared the announcement of pulling out of the bout and revealed the reason for his decision. The 25-year-old mentioned that he wanted to fight within the rules and had been preparing hard for the fight. But, since Till threatened to use illegal MMA techniques, he decided to pull out and is now looking for a new opponent and date.
Darren Till slams Tommy Fury and confirms he is still fighting on the card
Darren Till requested to be released from the UFC following his loss to Dricus du Plessis in December 2022 to pursue his future in boxing. The fight with Tommy Fury would have marked his professional boxing debut.
Till took to X to slam Fury and confirm that he is still fighting on the card. He wrote:
“Now I’m the A-side, and I call the shots. Opponent being found as we speak. I have always abided by the rules of fighting my whole life… I was building the fight with Tommy and saying things I knew he would shit himself from because I know deep down he’s not a real fighting man, and now it’s come to fruition what I have said is true."
He continued:
"He has pulled out and shown his true colors. See you all January 18th because no matter what, I’ll be there as I have always been. I always show up and always will for the fans, whether you like me or not."
