Such efforts to give back to his community did not go unnoticed by ONE fans, who shared their appreciation in the comments section, which can be read below:
"Inspiration for a generation 👍🏿👍🏿"
"Superlek building generations ❤️"
"How can you not love these guys."
"True superstar!"
Superlek's gym currently has two fighters competing under the ONE Championship banner as part of the ONE Friday Fights circuit, 26-year-old Denphuthai and 28-year-old Petmai.
While the Kiatmoo9 Gym product is enjoying the fruits of his dedication at the grassroots level, he will be gunning for two-sport dominance at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 when he challenges Jonathan Haggerty for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship inside the Ball Arena.
Jonathan Haggerty already in Denver weeks ahead of ONE 168 superfight with Superlek
Jonathan Haggerty, who also holds the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world championship, is doing everything he can to successfully defend the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship - even if it means heading out to The Mile High City a month ahead of ONE 168.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Haggerty stated:
"My team and I, we came to Denver four weeks before the week to get acclimated with the altitude. I've noticed a difference. It's helped to get out here early. The fifty kicks I start out with in training, I felt that a lot differently. But we're getting there."
