Cub Swanson at UFC Hall of Fame: Class of 2022 Induction Ceremony

Cub Swanson was inducted into the UFC's Hall of Fame for his fight against Doo Ho Choi at UFC 206: Holloway vs. Pettis in 2016. 'Killer' is part of the 'Fight Wing' in the Hall of Fame and was inducted this year.

Swanson defeated 'The Korean Superboy' via unanimous decision after three rounds of fighting. Over the course of 15 minutes, 'Killer' landed 122 total strikes, with his opponent landing 87. Fifty-two percent of Swanson's strikes were deemed significant, and the overall spectacle of the contest earned the American a spot in the Hall of Fame.

The 38-year-old has been fighting under the UFC banner since 2011, debuting against Ricardo Lamas at UFC on FOX 1. Given his years of professionalism and entertaining bouts in the UFC, it was great to see Swanson rewarded for his efforts.

What is Cub Swanson's UFC record after his bout against Doo Ho Choi?

Despite Cub Swanson beating Doo Ho Choi at UFC 206: Holloway vs. Pettis in 2016, 'Killer' has struggled during his recent UFC outings. Swanson has fought ten times in the organization since beating the Korean, but has only won four of these fights. The 38-year-old currently has a 4-6 organizational record since UFC 206.

Swanson's UFC wins have come against Artem Lobov, Kron Gracie, Daniel Pineda and Darren Elkins. However, 'Killer' was only beaten by high-level opposition, with the likes of Brian Ortega, Frankie Edgar and Giga Chikadze among the fighters to recently defeat the American.

The 38-year-old's most recent outing also didn't go as planned, with Jonathan Martinez managing to finish Swanson in the second round at UFC Fight Night: Grasso vs. Araujo earlier this month.
