Yes, the reigning UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo is nicknamed 'Deus da Guerra'. In Portuguese, "Deus da Guerra" means the God who gives war or the God of War.
The nickname is most probably a homage to the Greek demigod and spartan general Kratos from the hit video game series God of War. The red streak the 35-year-old sports on his head during his fights is similar to the red mark that runs down Krato's face in the video game series.
However, unlike the Greek demigod, UFC's 'God of War' hails from Para, Brazil. The fighter has lived true to his nickname in the octagon as well. Figueiredo boasts an impressive mixed martial arts record consisting of 21 wins against only 3 losses and 1 draw.

Figueiredo and Font will fight on the UFC Austin card scheduled to take place on December 2, 2023.
When UFC commentator Joe Rogan praised God of War for its amazing graphics
Although UFC commentator, Joe Rogan, hasn't always been a big fan of video games, during episode #1137 of The Joe Rogan Experience, the 56-year-old seemed genuinely amazed with God of War's graphical fidelity.
During the show, Rogan stated his surprise to his fellow comedian and video game fanatic, Duncan Trussell, at how life-like the game's graphics looked. A clearly impressed Rogan said that the game looked like an episode of the TV show Vikings:
"Look how good that is. You can see the first on his hands. It's like watching an episode of the Vikings. That's game play. That's amazing."

The game's superior quality is in no way a surprise since the game is widely considered to be one of the best video games ever made. The third-person action-adventure hack-and-slash title was also the 2018 winner of the coveted Game of the Year Award.
God of War: Ragnarok, the sequel to the hit game, was released earlier this month. The game is rated a perfect 10/10 by IGN.
