Multi-platinum hip hop artist NBA Youngboy is a relative of boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. While there is no formally established relationship between the two, the rapper is related to 'Money' through his daughter Iyanna, popularly known as Yaya Mayweather. NBA Youngboy and Iyanna Mayweather welcomed their first child together in January 2021. This makes Floyd Mayweather Jr. the grandfather of the hip-hop superstar's child.

Iyanna Mayweather announced the birth of her baby boy, Kentrell Jr., on Instagram in a since-deleted post. The undefeated boxer’s daughter made headlines when she was charged with stabbing another woman at the residence of NBA Youngboy. Iyanna was then sentenced to six years of probation for the incident.

Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, a.k.a. NBA Youngboy, was facing two federal gun charges in October 2021. The rapper was then released on $1.5 million bail and ordered to live under house arrest. Only three visitors were allowed into his home at once in addition to his wife, his producer, and his business manager, who also resides in the same home.
Judge Shelly Dick made Youngboy’s house arrest rules more lenient in early 2023. As of March 15, 2023, the Louisiana judge exempted two conditions from the rapper’s supervised house arrest release, and as a result of the ruling, he’ll be allowed to have more than three visitors simultaneously without a curfew at his Utah home.
When Floyd Mayweather flaunted the money he seemingly kept aside for NBA Youngboy
Floyd Mayweather is one of the richest athletes in the world and he enjoys flaunting the wealth despite criticism from many fans. Earlier this year, Mayweather posted a video of him sitting next to two briefcases full of cash in a lavish car.
He said:
“Just another ordinary day, chillin’ in an EWB Rolls Royce! For those that don’t know what an EWB is, that’s an extended wheelbase Rolls Royce. Pointing to the briefcases, Mayweather addressed NBA Youngboy, saying:
“And the bag, it’s crazy! NBA YoungBoy, see all of this? It’s on its way to you. Let’s go!”
