Is Stipe Miocic married?
Stipe Miocic is married to Ryan Marie Carney (aka Ryan Miocic). Both Stipe and his wife, Ryan, consistently post photos and videos featuring one another to their social media accounts. Ryan has worked as a nurse, in addition to also possessing experience in the fields of cosmetology and beauty.
In an Instagram post from June 2021, Ryan suggested they'd been together for "10 years" and completed five years as husband and wife, alluding that their relationship commenced over a decade ago.
As reported by Cleveland Magazine in 2016, a mutual friend attempted to set them on a date for years, but they met in person at a pancake party only in 2012. Stipe and Ryan got married at the Divine Word Catholic Church in Kirtland, Ohio, on June 18, 2016.
Intriguingly, during a conversation with ex-WWE personality Renee Young (real name: Renee Paquette) on Oral Sessions in 2021, Stipe Miocic recounted the pancake party. He also reiterated how their friend's efforts to set them up didn't materialize for a long time:
"For seven years, it just never happened. I mean, for five or seven, I don't know how long. It was a long time ... She went to Florida for a little bit, lived in Florida for a little bit, tried to change it up. And I always got stuff going on. And then, she was dating someone. I was dating someone."
Apparently, they partook together, courtesy of Ryan's brother, in a pancake party at the fire station. Miocic opined that he still didn't adequately communicate with her, seemingly reiterating how things never quite aligned between them for several years. Eventually, Ryan's friend notified Stipe that she was single and open to dating again. They soon developed a close bond, eventually leading to marriage.
