No.9-ranked UFC featherweight contender Bryce Mitchell has a history of harboring controversial beliefs. If his recent Instagram post challenging Joe Rogan to a flat Earth debate is any proof, the 28-year-old believes that the Earth is flat.
In a video uploaded to Instagram, 'Thug Nasty' stated that the Earth is flat and that the stars and the sun revolve around it. The fighter added that he is tired of the UFC commentator making fun of Flat Earthers and wants to debate him on the topic:
"This Earth is flat, it ain't moving around no 600,000 miles an hour, spinning a 1000 miles an hour and floating through the universe constantly. Okay, this Earth is flat, it's fixed and the stars and stuff rotate around. The sun rotates around us... I can prove that, I would love to debate you Joe Rogan because I'm tired of you making fun of Flat Earthers. And if you're so confident, come and debate me buddy... Boy I'll smoke you in a debate."

Flat Earth is a scientifically disproven theory. Flat Earthers do not believe in concepts like gravity or the revolutionary patterns of the planet around the sun.
