UFC 287 goes down next weekend on Saturday, April 8.
After taking a week off following UFC San Antonio, the premier MMA promotion returns with a highly-anticipated event. 13 fights are currently booked to take place inside the Miami-Dade Arena in Miami, Florida. The early preliminary card will be aired on ESPN+ at 6:00 p.m. ET, with the preliminary card following on ESPN/ESPN+ at 8 p.m. ET, and the main card ending the night on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET.
In the main event, Alex Pereira will look to defend the middleweight world championship for the first time in an immediate rematch against Israel Adesanya. The world-class strikers met in the octagon on November 12, 2022, with Pereira securing a fifth-round standing TKO to avoid a loss on the scorecards.
The co-main event features hometown hero Jorge Masvidal hoping to get back on track after a disappointing performance against Colby Covington last time out. ‘Gamebred’ has been matched up against Gilbert Burns, who made a statement against Neil Magny in January. The top-ranked welterweights have an opportunity to potentially solidify a number-one contender fight in their next outing by emerging victorious on April 8.
