“Is this what you want to see?” - Nico Carrillo calls on fans to sound off on potential matchup with Superlek

Second-ranked ONE Championship bantamweight Muay Thai contender Nico Carrillo of Scotland is chomping at the bit for his chance at the ONE world title. After all, the 25-year-old is widely thought to be next in line to challenge the division's throne.

Carrillo recently took to Instagram to ask fans if they wanted to see him face off against newly-minted double champ 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9.

The caption read:

"Is this what you want to see?"

Muay Thai icon 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9 shocked the world when he only needed 49 seconds to separate former champion 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty from his senses.

Superlek took the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai strap from Haggerty in the main event of ONE 168: Denver a couple of weeks ago, adding that strap to the bantamweight kickboxing belt already in his trophy case.

Now that Superlek is the champion, the focus has shifted to who he should defend the belt against first, and Carrillo has emerged as the popular first choice.

Carrillo is unbeaten in ONE Championship, with four big wins in the world's largest martial arts organization, most notably finishes over Muangthai PK Saenchai, Nong-O Hama, and Saemapetch Fairtex.

Nong-O Hama worries that Nico Carrillo may be too big for Superlek: "His muscles and everything are just there"

A former Nico Carrillo opponent, the legendary Thai fighter Nong-O Hama, is worried that the Scottish star may be just too big for Superlek Kiatmoo9.

Carrillo is on the thicker end of the bantamweight division, whereas Superlek is coming from flyweight, and still holds the ONE flyweight kickboxing belt to this day.

Nong-O told South China Morning Post:

"Nico Carrillo [versus] Superlek. Nico has a lot of advantages in terms of his physical condition, I feel like in this weight division, he looks the biggest. His muscles and everything are just there."
