Israel Adesanya was extremely delighted at being complimented by former Welterweight Champion and arguably the greatest mixed martial artist of all time, Georges St-Pierre.
Israel Adesanya put up an absolute clinic against undefeated Paulo Costa in the recently concluded UFC 253. After a lackluster performance against Yoel Romero back at UFC 248, Adesanya had a lot to prove going forward into his second title defense and he did just that with a stoppage victory over Costa at UFC 253. With the win, Israel Adesanya has cemented himself as one of the greatest Middleweights of all time.
Speaking about Israel Adesanya, Georges St-Pierre called him the "perfect fighter" and stated that he is doing an extremely good job of entertaining the people both inside and outside the Octagon.

“He’s amazing. He’s a perfect fighter,” GSP said. “We’re in the entertainment business, and our job is to entertain the audience, and he’s doing it very, very well.”
Israel Adesanya has looked extremely efficient in his past few performances. After becoming the first fighter to secure a KO win over Robert Whittaker late last year, Adesanya went on to snap Paulo Costa's undefeated streak. With several interesting match-ups in the pipeline going forward, the future looks bright for the UFC Middleweight division.

Israel Adesanya looked ecstatic and reacted positively to St-Pierre's comments. Appearing alongside Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie, Israel Adesanya expressed his gratitude towards St-Pierre for the latter's generous words. When asked about his reaction, Adesanya got up to get a rose for the former Champion, while thanking him for his warm compliments.
"From one great to another. GOAT recongnises GOAT. Bless you. Thankyou very much. I appreciate that, that's a beautiful compliment coming from a GOAT because GOAT recognises GOAT." Adesanya said.
In such a short period of time, Israel Adesanya has managed to create a huge impact in the UFC. Former kickboxing Champion, and currently undefeated inside the octagon, Israel Adesanya is also looking at a potential super-fight against Jon Jones.
