Israel Adesanya has just shared his reaction to the verdict of Odell Beckham Jr.'s legal battle with Nike. The pair have been locked in a lawsuit, which Beckham filed, alleging that the company owed him around $20 million in withheld royalties from their sponsorship deal.
Naturally, Nike denied the claims and countersued. However, a jury in Multnomah County, Oregon ruled that neither Nike nor Beckham were in violation of the sponsorship agreement, so no damages were awarded to either side. Nevertheless, the NFL star is still claiming it as a victory on Instagram.
"JUST DO......RIGHT @nike. I wanna take this moment to thank God first and foremost thank you Heavenly Father. I wanna thank my team for every hour they have spent preparing on this case. I wanna thank the jury for simply doing what's right in a world full of wrong... my message to whoever needs to hear this is, STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN! JUSTICE WAS SERVED!!!"

Similarly, Nike also declared victory in the aftermath of the legal battle. Still, Beckham's post drew far more attention, with former UFC middleweight champion Adesanya taking to the comment section of the post to share his thoughts. However, instead of using his swords, Adesanya used an emoji.
However, 'The Last Stylebender's' true focus at the moment is preparing himself for an upcoming middleweight title fight with his arch-nemesis and the division's reigning champion, Dricus du Plessis. The two men are schedueld to lock horns at UFC 305 on Aug. 18 in Perth, Australia.
Israel Adesanya once mocked Jon Jones for the latter's loss of a Nike sponsorship
Jon Jones was the first MMA fighter to have been signed to a global endorsement deal with Nike. However, he then claimed that the contract was terminated following his pre-UFC 178 brawl with Daniel Cormier back in 2014. Years later, Israel Adesanya brought this up on X/Twitter in the thick of his feud with 'Bones.'
"Please, Just do it. Oh yea Nike dropped your *ss too Jon. I can't remember for which scandal they did it though. C'mon Jonathan, "grow a pair"."
Fortunately for both men, their feud has since died down, with Adesanya and Jones regarding each other on much friendlier terms as of late.
