It's no secret that Israel Adesanya is a fan of Japanese culture. However, his new favorite TV show hails from South Korea. 'The Last Stylebender' stated that his new favorite series is the recently released Physical 100, which appeared on Netflix last week.
The show follows 100 contestants in great physical condition who complete a series of exhausting challenges in exchange for a cash reward. Contestants are knocked out of the competition as it continues until there is only one person standing.
Adesanya declared the new show his favorite and specified that he watched the 'dubbed' version of the series instead of using subtitles. 'The Last Stylebender' said:
"My new fave anime, #Physical100. Dubbed not subbed."

Israel Adesanya's specificity about watching the 'dubbed' version of the show stems from a debate that is rife amongst the anime community about whether it's better to watch a show with subtitles on or simply the dubbed version.
In a 'dubbed' version of a show, the original dialog of the program has been swapped out for one with a different language. Given that many anime shows' original language is not English, subtitles or a dubbed version is required for English viewers.
Israel Adesanya recently confronted the debate during an interview with GQ:
"'Weebs' would be like, 'Subbed or get the f**k out.' But I like to watch the fight scenes, and sometimes when they're doing the fight scenes, if I'm focusing on the subtitles, I'll miss the action. That's the only reason I like dub. If you like dub [then] you like dub, if you like sub [then] you like sub. You don't have to diss each other."

Israel Adesanya releases promo video about Alex Pereira rematch
Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira are set to headline UFC 287 in April; 'The Last Stylebender' attempts to reclaim the crown he lost to 'Poatan' late last year.
Pereira and Adesanya have now faced off three times in combat sports, with two fights in kickboxing prior to their fight at UFC 281. 'Poatan' has won all three and now has the opportunity to make it 4-0 against arguably the greatest middleweight in MMA history.
But it seems that Israel Adesanya isn't keeping the score, as he posted the following on Instagram:
"In this game, we don’t keep score…we settle them."
