Adesanya, born in Nigeria, moved to New Zealand at the age of 10, as his family sought better educational opportunities. Although he attended college for computer design, he was drawn by the appeal of a career in combat sports rather than a conventional future in office work.

Adesanya has claimed in interviews in the past that traditional schooling doesn't prepare kids for real-world challenges. He argues that many subjects taught in schools are outdated and not particularly useful.

Rather than enrolling his future children in conventional schools, Adesanya plans to hire a tutor for personalized learning. He also claimed that he wants his kids to engage in sports like gymnastics and Jiu Jitsu to develop both athletic and social skills.

Israel Adesanya responds to Shara Magomedov's challenge for a future fight

Israel Adesanya was seemingly caught off guard when Shara Magomedov called him out for a potential clash after an impressive knockout victory against Armen Petrosyan at UFC 308.

Magomedov declared himself the best striker in the middleweight division and claimed in the post-fight press conference that Adesanya might need to retire to avoid a fight against him. The undefeated Russian said:

“I’m in no rush. I’m not running in front of the train. The only way for Israel Adesanya to avoid the fight with me is to retire. Of course, I would like to fight Israel to prove that I’m the best striker in the division."

Adesanya posted a reaction video on YouTube, where he humorously advised Magomedov to keep his name out of his mouth. 'The Last Stylebender' expressed confusion over the callout, questioning why he was being mentioned. He said:

"Keep my name out of your f*cking mouth. What the f*ck did I do? What he say f*ck me, for?”
