Israel Adesanya recently voiced his take after witnessing yet another goofy act from IShowSpeed. Adesanya appreciated the 19-year-old's nonchalant act for a special reason.
Adesanya isn't having the best days of his UFC career. After losing the UFC middleweight gold to Sean Strickland at UFC 293, he went on an almost a year-long hiatus.
However, 'The Last Stylebender' failed to recapture the title on his return, losing his UFC 305 encounter against the current champ, Dricus du Plessis.
Being an avid social media enthusiast, Adesanya is well aware of IShowSpeed. The Ohio native gained prominence on multiple social media platforms because of his goofy videos with exaggerated expressions.

IShowSpeed went for a backflip during a recent livestream with his girlfriend, Vanessa, and fellow streamer, Kai Cenat. He landed on the desk holding the camera before crashing on the floor. It had Vanessa checking on him swiftly.
Adesanya shared this moment from IShowSpeed's video to his own Instagram story, labeling the act a "W":
"W Rizz."
Israel Adesanya shares feelings about fighting at a non-pay-per-view event for the first time since 2018
Israel Adesanya's meteoric rise after he entered the UFC in 2018. He had his first encounter in February 2018 against Rob Wilkinson. However, the UFC brass decided to feature in pay-per-views within the same year.
Adesanya fought on a non-pay-per-view fight card for the last time at 'The Ultimate Fighter 27' Finale on July 7, 2018. However, the rough patch in his career has demoted him to fight on a non-pay-per-view event again. Adesanya will lock horns with Nassourdine Imavov in the main event of UFC Saudi Arabia, which is scheduled for Feb. 1, 2025.
However, Adesanya is pretty much unfazed by this. He detailed his feelings about fighting on a non-pay-per-view card once more after 2018 in a recent video on his YouTube channel, FREESTYLEBENDER:
"I still get paid, you know. I still get paid. There's still a referee. There's two of us in there. There's a crowd. So it's not like in a f**king APEX or something. So it doesn't feel any different. I think people are making it out to be something that, how they would react to it. But they're not in my shoes. They're not in my shorts."
