He has, however, fought in the birthplace of Islam, Saudi Arabia, a milestone for him as a Muslim athlete.

The aforementioned matchup took place this year on March 8, when he TKO'd Magomed Kurbanov on the undercard of the Francis Ngannou vs. Anthony Joshua event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
